Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Marilyn Sue Johnson age 62 of Wedowee will be held Tuesday December 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Pinetucky Baptist Church with Rev. David Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson passed away Sunday December 2, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by one son Barry (Mandy) Johnson of Heflin; one sister Cathy ( Phillip) Wortham of Heflin; two grandchildren Jesse Johnson and Samantha Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Johnson, Houston Hudgins, Ricky Daniel, Fred Hill, Kyle Yancy and Bill Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson was born March 1, 1950 the daughter of Merl and Maudine Gray Gosdin. She was retired from First Stop Title Pawn and a member of Pinetucky Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Barron Johnson.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Monday December 3, 2012 from 5 till 8 PM. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
