Obituary of Edward Sutton

Obituary Notice Funeral services for, Edward Sutton, age 86, of Wedowee, will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 6, 2013 from Pinetucky Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Burson and Rev. Steve Dempsey officiating. Mr. Sutton will lie in state one hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, on Saturday, January 5, 2013. Pallbearers will be Wendell White, Jim Key, Paul Triplett, and Roger Key. Mr. Sutton died, Friday, Saturday 4, 2013, from Lineville Health and Rehab. Mr. Sutton is survived by his wife, Geneva Key Sutton of Wedowee; two sons, Robert Edward Sutton, Jr. of Odenville; one grandchild, Dakota Sutton of Odenville; two sisters, Mae Lipham of Lanett, Joyce White of Lanett. Mr. Sutton was born, January 16, 1926, the son of Lonnie S. and Belle Allen Sutton. He was a member of Pinetucky Baptist Church and had worked as a bundle clerk for Breman and Bowdon Investment Company. Mr. Sutton is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Lottie Gaston, Mildred Triplett, Beulah Reaves; one brother, Grady Sutton.
