Obituary of James Iggy Marsh

Obituary Notice Funeral services for James "Iggy" Marsh, age 58, of Wedowee, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, March 8, 2013 from the Union chapel Methodist Church with Pastor Craig McClure, Pastor Janice Clark and Pastor Tom Williams officiating. Mr. Marsh will lie in state one hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 7, 2013. Pallbearers will be James Brown, Michael Terrell, Derrick Sims, Terrance Sims and Preston Lane. Honorary pallbearers will be Devin Terrell, Darius Terrell, Jamarcus Brown, Gensis Nunn, Antonio Nunn, Malachi Nunn, Darrell "Lil Man" Sims and Jaiqwan Terrell. Mr. Marsh died, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at his home. Mr. Marsh is survived by his wife, Helen Terrell-Marsh of Wedowee; three daughters, Nickie Nunn and husband Kevin of Wedowee, Janice Marsh and husband Derrick of Wedowee, Joyce Terrell of Wedowee; one son, Kenny Terrell of Wedowee; ten grandchildren; one sister, Jackie Lane of Wedowee; one brother Robert Bailey of Wedowee. Mr. Marsh was born April 15, 1954, the son of Herman and Doris Jane Marsh Lane. He was of Methodist faith and had worked as a laborer for Dixie Construction.
