Obituary of Mindy Lee Brown

Funeral services for Mindy Lee Brown, age 32, of Woodland will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. from the Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ridley Parmer and Rev. Stiles Akins officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013. Mrs. Brown died Thursday, August 22, 2013, in Atlanta, GA. Survivors include her husband, Michael Brown of Woodland; her parents, Donald and Emma Lee Spradlin of Woodland; one daughter, Brianna Adams of Woodland; one son, Dylan Brown of Woodland; one stepdaughter, Angela East of Ashland; two stepsons, James Brown and Keith Brown of Lineville; two brothers, Kenneth Spradlin of Wedowee and Michael Spradlin of Woodland; and her father-in-law, Kerry Brown of Oxford. Pallbearers will be James Brown, Keith Brown, Corey Spradlin, Christopher Spradlin, Daniel Holloway, and Dave Gray. A Randolph County native, Mindy was born on October 10, 1980, the daughter of Donald and Emma Lee Holloway Spradlin. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was a painter at Wellborn Cabinets.
