Obituary of Frances LeSueur

Funeral services for Frances Wright LeSueur, age 92, of Wedowee will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. from First Baptist Church of Wedowee with Bro. Cade Farris officiating. Burial will follow at the Wedowee City Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Mrs. LeSueur will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
Mrs. LeSueur died Sunday, September 22, 2013, at her residence.
Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews and wonderful caregivers and providers.
Pallbearers will be Vernon Lipham, James Kendrick, Tim Coe, Ricky Daniel, Rob Perry, Will Swann, Ron Fleming, and Tommy Camp.
A Randolph County native, Mrs. LeSueur was born on December 14, 1920, the daughter of William Samuel and Minnie Young Wright. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Wedowee where she served as organist for a number of years. Mrs. LeSueur graduated from Auburn University with a Master's Degree in Home Economics and was a home economics teacher with the Randolph County Board of Education for five years from 1946-1951 and the Roanoke City School System for 25 years from 1951-1976. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Robert LeSueur, three sisters, one brother and one nephew.
