Funeral services for Evelyn Irene Wyatt, age 82, of Lineville will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 11:00 AM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chris Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM on Saturday, November 30, 2013.
Mrs. Wyatt passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Wedowee Hospital.
Survivors include: her husband, Jessie L. Wyatt, Jr., of Lineville; two daughters, Rebecca Smith of Lineville and Jane Wyatt of Batesburg, SC; two grandchildren, Sharon Hogan and Amanda Wyatt; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Smith and Michael Hogan; two sisters, Helen Thornton and Diane (husband, Bill) Rabern, both of Fayetteville, GA; and one brother, Jimmy (wife, Elaine) Adams of Fayetteville, GA.
A Fayetteville, Georgia native, Mrs. Wyatt was born on September 20, 1931, the daughter of Roy and Gladys Hand Adams. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Wyatt was preceded in death by her parents.
The family is accepting flowers or requests donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church at P.O. Box 455, Wedowee, AL 36278.
