Obituary of Earnest L. Cagle

Graveside services for Earnest L. Cagle, age 81, of Woodland, will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. from Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Ray Fields and Bro. Hugh Walton officiating. Benefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 21st. Mr. Cagle died Monday, January 20, 2014, at his home. Survivors include his wife, Annie Hill Cagle of Woodland; three sons, Douglas Glenn Cagle of Conyers, GA, Robert Dale Cagle of Sylacauga, and John R. Cagle of Newell; three grandchildren. Mr. Cagle was born June 11, 1932, son of Roy Zeb and Ethel Hanner Cagle. He had been employed by Lithonia Lighting as a spray painter. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Earnest Wayne Cagle; three sisters and two brothers.
