Funeral services for Jerusha Braden, age 88, of Wedowee, will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 11:00 AM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 26th.
Ms. Braden passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, at her residence.
Survivors include: two sisters, Clara Braden Dobson of Gadsden and Mary Braden of Wedowee; and one brother, Rudolph Braden of Oxford.
A Randolph County native, Ms. Braden was born on February 8, 1926, the daughter of Humphrey Davis and Verta Williams Braden. She was an active member and secretary/treasurer of Corinth Baptist North for many years and was a supervisor at Palm Beach Company. Ms. Braden was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Marjorie Braden Baker.
The family is accepting flowers or, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Corinth North Baptist Church.
