Mary Frances Nolen, age 58, of Heflin passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Survivors include her husband, William R. Nolen of Heflin; one stepdaughter, Lisa Arrington of Heflin; two sons, Billy Wayne Nolen and Christopher Dale Nolen, both of Heflin; one grandchild; her mother, Mary Louise Akins; one sister, Barbara Jean Whitley of Heflin; one brother, Jimmy Wayne Ballenger of Anniston; and one half-brother, Jerry Wayne Whitley of Heflin.
A Heflin native, Mrs. Nolen was born on November 2, 1955, the daughter of Junior Ballenger and Mary Louise Akins. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Nolen was preceded in death by her father.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
