Funeral services for Ann Adamson age 53 of Wedowee will be held Friday May 23, 2014 at 11 AM from Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. David Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee from 5 till 8 PM on Thursday May 22, 2014. Mrs. Adamson will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services beginning on Friday.
Mrs. Adamson passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, Dwayne Adamson of Wedowee; one son, Tim (wife, Amy) Adamson; three grandchildren, Karon Howard, Leanne Adamson, and Chasity Adamson; and two sisters, Fran (husband, Jim) Dale of Knoville, TN, and Jan (husband, Arvil) Tilley of Alex City.
Pallbearers will be Matt Bearden, Joe Thrower, Gerald Adamson, Brad Laney, Allan Satterwhite, and Gregg Heath.
A Randolph County native, Mrs. Adamson was born on August 31, 1960, the daughter of Gerald and Judy Messer Perry. She was preceded in death by her parents.
