Memorial Services for Brandon Lynn Cushing, age 33, of Heflin will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 11:00 AM from Potters House Church with Rev. Mike Drummond officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, July 25, 2014.
Mr. Cushing passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Wedowee Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Rashel Collins Cushing of Heflin; four sons, Gabriel and Jacob Cushing of Ashland and Shade and Liam Cushing of Heflin; his parents, Lewis and Jodi Cushing of Heflin; and one brother, Mark Cushing of Heflin.
A lifelong Alabama resident, Mr. Cushing was born on October 6, 1980 in Dallas, Texas, the son of Lewis Cushing and Sarah Joyce Rice. He was a member of Potters House Church and was a truck driver.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee for Mr. Cushing's funeral expenses.
Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee is in charge of arrangements.
