Obituary of Guinda Nell Wright

Guinda N. Wright of Heflin, Alabama, formerly of Woodland, Alabama, died peacefully on July 22, 2014 in Cleburne County Nursing Home where she received excellent care. Guinda was born on February 15, 1946 in Woodland, Alabama, the daughter of Sam and Gladys Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents. Guinda is survived by her sister, Janice, and her husband, Talmadge Richardson of Carrollton, Georgia; nieces, Gail and her husband, Rev. Pat Heuer, and Jeanie and her husband, Kenneth Allewine, both of Ranburne, Alabama; and nephews, Eddie Richardson and his wife, Melodie of Carrollton, Georgia and Randy Richardson of Bowdon, Georgia. She is also survived by a number of great nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at Zion Baptist Church, Woodland, Alabama on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM (CST). The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM . Interment will be in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Randy and Eddie Richardson, Nance Lovvorn, Harold and Thomas McCarley and Don Strain. Honorary pall bearers will be nurses and other care givers from Cleburne County Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the Rain Fund, Cleburne County Nursing Home, 122 Brockford Road, Heflin, Alabama 36264. Benefield Funeral Home, Wedowee, Alabama was in charge of the arrangements.
