Obituary of Stacey Alexander Nuckolls

Funeral services for Stacey Alexander Nuckolls, age 41, of Woodland will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at 1:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fred Cooke officiating. Burial will follow at Harmony Congregational Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. Mr. Nuckolls passed away Monday, September 29, 2014, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia. Survivors include his wife, Karen Nuckolls of Woodland; his parents, Tommy and Rita Cofield of Woodland; maternal grandparents, Winfred and Elizabeth Meadows of Woodland; grandmother, Mary Nell Cofield of Woodland; one brother, Brent Nuckolls(wife, Jennifer) of Roanoke; half-brother, Alex Nuckolls of Bowdon, GA; Bennie and Shandee Adams of Woodland; Tim and Monica Cofield of Carrollton, GA; nephew, Cameron Nuckolls; special uncle, Ray Meadows of Houston, TX; and a special pet, Carla. Pallbearers will be Brent Nuckolls, Blu Sledge, Joey Lipham, Mike Lambert, Chad Herren, Paul Herren, Barry Daniel, and Dennis Lovvorn. A Carroll County native, Mr. Nuckolls was born on May 16, 1973, the son of Stanley Nuckolls and Rita Cofield. He graduated from UTI in Houston, Texas, where he was certified in ACS. Mr. Nuckolls was a self-employed auto mechanic and Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Nuckolls; paternal grandparents, Melvin and Charlotte Nuckolls; grandfather, Dalton Cofield; special uncle, Steve Meadows; and special pet, Molly.
