Obituary of Thomas Wilburn Rostofer

Funeral services for Thomas "Little Rock" Rostofer, age 51, of Newell will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jason Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Mr. Rostofer passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at Wedowee Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Prestridge Rostofer of Newell; two sons, Thomas Dewayne "Tommy" Rostofer and Terry Wilburn "TT" Rostofer, both of Newell; his mother, Ava Lee Rostofer of Woodland; four grandchildren, Hunter Rostofer, Cody Rostofer, Aythan Higgins, and Krimson Rostofer; three sisters, Wanda Howell of Pell City, Cary Kilgore and Donna Rostofer, both of Woodland; and two brothers, Randy Rostofer and Gary Rostofer, both of Woodland. Pallbearers will be Joey Waldrop, Jenny Waldrop, Christy Waldrop, Jason Boyd, Christopher Tanner, James Rostofer, Jennifer Boyd, and Miranda Beason. A Wedowee native, Mr. Rostofer was born on July 15, 1963, the son of William Guy "Rock" and Ava Lee Morrow Rostofer. He was a mold puller for Trintex Rubber Corp. and was Baptist by faith. Mr. Rostofer was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Janice Rostofer.
