Obituary of Sara P. Mitchell

Funeral services for Sara P. Mitchell, age 91, of Villa Rica, Georgia, will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016, at 11:00 AM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. A.W. Kent officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM on Friday, April 8, 2016. Mrs. Mitchell passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016, a Haralson Nursing and Rehab in Bremen. Survivors include: two sons, Tim Mitchell (wife, Cathy) of Woodland and Philip Mitchell (wife, Stephanie) of Lincoln; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Mitchell, Jareth Mitchell, Austin Mitchell, Jerry McGuffie, Lee Carr, and Michael Carr. A Fulton County native, Mrs. Mitchell was born on October 15, 1924, the daughter of Roy and Wasterley Capps Plaster. She was Baptist by faith and worked as a teacher at A B Christian Daycare. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Mitchell; one son, Lee Mitchell; and two sisters.
