Mrs. Brown Family:
Mr. and Mrs. Brown were good people which is hard to come by now. I remember the white house that I passed by when I was a kid going to Woodland on 64. I remember going to their brick house one evening and they were talkers. She was the nutritionist at Woodland H.S. and was quiet there. I guess when I visited them at home I seen how much the both of them loved company. May God Bless her and your families. She will be missed. Thank God for good people!

A tribute to a wonderful lady who I called MawMaw Brown. Her sister ( which was my grandmother died before I was born) so therefore She became the maw maw that I knew and loved. She was an inspiration and role model for everyone who's life she touched. I have the fondest memories growing up and getting to go to maw maw and papa Browns house. Always something good to eat and a big smile on her face. Her fried pies were the absolute BEST in the world and we all would fight over them. The memories and the legacy she left will last a life time. I had the privilege and honor of helping her celebrate her 99 birthday this year and presented her a plaque from The Mayor of Roanoke in her honor. I will always cherish that memory and the smile she had. Rest in Peace Maw Maw we love you.
