A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Mrs. Rollins was born on September 3, 1959, the daughter of Bobby Gene and Janice Kilgore Benefield. She was a faithful member of Highway Congregational Methodist Church. Her favorite things in life were helping Jenny with Bike Hike, crafting, sewing, quilting, crocheting, playing with her granddaughter, and riding her Harley. She was well-known in Randolph County for riding her bike on fundraising rides for Bike Hike, and many people around Randolph County have worn something she made with her own loving hands. She was called by God to do a very hard and daunting task in raising and caring for a multi-handicapped child. Jenny was her world until her granddaughter Jaci was born, and only then, did her Harley slow down; now she rides with Jesus. Mrs. Rollins was the toughest woman with a most gentle touch when children came to her for help of any kind. She was preceded in death by her father; one daughter, Joni Christine Rollins; and one brother, Kevin Wayne Sikes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Randolph County Learning Center, P.O. Box 127, Roanoke, AL 36274.
