Obituary of Charles Warren Tucker

Funeral services for Charles Wayne Tucker Sr. age 63 of Wedowee will be held Tuesday December 6, 2016 at 4 PM with Rev. David Little officiating. Burial will follow in the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida with military honors on a later date. Mr. Tucker passed away Saturday December 3, 2016 at Wedowee Hospital. The family will receive friends on Tuesday December 6, 2016 from 2 till 4 PM at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee. Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife Elaine Tucker of Wedowee; two sons Charles Warren Tucker Jr. of Covington, Ga. and Jonathon Mark Tucker of Melborne, Fl; two sisters Vickie Lovvorn and Pansy Bailey both of Woodland and five grandchildren. Mr. Tucker was a LaGrange, Ga. native born January 24, 1953 the son of Zebbie Leon and Willie Kate Simpson Tucker. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wedowee. He was retired from the F.A.A. as a computer technician. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
