Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Margaret Jean Rollins age 70 of Roanoke will be held Tuesday March 14, 2017 at Woodland First Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Braswell and Rev. Jason Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Rollins passed away Sunday March 12, 2017 at Traylor’s Healthcare Center.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 14, 2017 at Woodland First Congregational Methodist Church from 12 till 2 PM.
Mrs. Rollins is survived by three sons Steve (Donna) Rollins, Wade (Sabrina) Rollins and Kenny (Amy) Rollins all of Roanoke. One sister Nancy Mitchell of Woodland; Two brothers Carl Britt of Roanoke and Don Butler of Shawmut; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bo Rollins, Scott Rollins, Andrew Rollins, Josh Rollins, Mickey Manning, Don Rollins and Justin Gilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Lance Rollins, Ken Britt, Donnie Butler and Matt Davidson.
Mrs. Rollins was born June 19, 1946 the daughter of Benny Tilton and Nina Butler Britt. She was a retired seamstress at Harlco and a Methodist by faith. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to funeral expenses.
