Obituary of E. Marie Rashford

Memorial graveside services for E. Marie Rashford, age 78, of Anniston, will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at 1:00 PM from Rock Stand Christian Church Cemetery. Benefield Funeral Home Wedowee is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Rashford passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018, at Noland Acute Care in Anniston, AL.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Tierson (husband, Bruce) of Anniston; one son, Gary Rashford (wife, Bernadette) of Ft. Myers, FL; two grandchildren, Shelby Rashford & Neil Tierson (wife, Daniella); one great-grandchild, Ari Tierson; one sister, Shelby Treadwell of Roanoke; and three brothers, Boe Cobb of Anniston, AL, Pete Cobb of Saks, AL, and Harold Cobb of LaGrange, GA.

An Etowah County native, Mrs. Rashford was born on April 27, 1939, the daughter of Freeman and Pearl Mason Cobb. She had worked for Savannah National Bank as a bank teller. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne Rashford; two sisters, Adilene Cottle and Vera Wilson; and two brothers, Houston Cobb and Cecil Cobb.
