Wayne Schmidt, age 78, of Graham passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Tanner-East Alabama Medical Center.
Survivors include: two daughters, Marlynn Streetman with husband Keith of Hiram, GA, and Brenda Perry with husband Mike of Dallas, GA; one son, David Schmidt with wife Jenny of Newnan, GA; six grandchildren; one sister, Edna Giesel of Burns, KS.; and one brother, Ferd Schmidt of Burns, KS.
A Kansas native, Mr. Schmidt was born on August 20, 1940, the son of Allen and Anna Decker Schmidt. He was a self-employed millwright. Mr. Schmidt was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and three brothers.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
