Obituary of Stephen Gerard Daniel

Memorial services for Stephen Gerard Daniel, age 52 of Woodland will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Daniel and Bro. Ricky Daniel officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until services begin.

Mr. Daniel passed away Friday, February 22, 2019, in Augusta, Georgia.

Survivors include: two daughters, Kimberly Daniel (husband, Michael) of Wedowee and Stevee Robinson (husband, Colby) of Ashland; four grandchildren, Todd Daniel, Caroline Daniel, Tye Robinson, and Koy Robinson; two brothers, David Daniel (wife, Sandra) of Woodland and Ricky Daniel (wife, Sharon) of Wedowee; one niece and five nephews; and caregivers, Wanda McDaniel and Charlotte Parker.

A lifelong Woodland resident, Mr. Daniel was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 6, 1967, the son of Robert H. and Carolyn Traylor Daniel.  He was a member of Zion Baptist Church and worked as a police officer.  Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.
