Connie E. Anderson, age 64, of Wedowee, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Tanner East Alabama Medical Center in Wedowee.

A private family service will be held at a later date in Indiana.

Survivors include: husband, Bruce Anderson, married July 4, 1986; two daughters, Jennifer N. Smith and Amber R. Sullivan; three sons, Bruce Edward Anderson, Jr., Jeffery Ray Anderson, and Joshua Dale Anderson; 14 grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Russell; two brothers, Charles Ferguson (wife, Lorraine) and Edward Ferguson (wife, Barb); four sisters-in-law, Desi Anderson, Angela Anderson, Pamela Caudill, and Beverly Smith (husband, Danny); and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Lebanon, Indiana native, Mrs. Anderson was born on September 26, 1954, the daughter of Charles Junior and Mary A. Sackett Ferguson. She was Baptist by faith and worked for McLane’s running routes and eventually worked her way up to a business associate. In more recent years she worked at Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Roanoke, AL. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Sandra Ferguson and two brothers-in-law, Dave Russell and Larry Anderson.
