Obituary of Tammy Chambers

Funeral services for Tammy Chambers, age 57, of Woodland will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 2:00 PM CST at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Daniel and Bro. Ricky Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM CST on Monday, March 16, 2020. Mrs. Chambers passed away Friday, March 13, 2020, at her residence. Survivors include her husband, Terry Chambers of Woodland; two sons, Thad Chambers and Chase Chambers, both of Carrollton, GA; stepson, Josh Chambers of Monterey, CA; and two brothers, Jerry Cofield and Pat Cofield, both of Valley, AL. Pallbearers will be Joedy Rochester, David Knerr, Ben Lambert, Kaleb Futral, Michael Bartlett, and Daniel Meeks. A Roanoke native, Mrs. Chambers was born on November 22, 1962, the daughter of Willis and Orene Smith Truitt. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wedowee and worked as a home health nurse for the state health department. Mrs. Chambers was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one brother.
