Obituary of Stephanie Elaine Gross Sikes

Funeral services for Stephanie Elaine Gross Sikes, age 51, of Wedowee will be held on Monday, August 3, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe Bob Traylor officiating.  Burial will follow at Rocky Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30-8:00 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2020.

Mrs. Sikes passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020.

Survivors include her husband Charles Sikes of Wedowee; daughters, Bethanie Sikes of Auburn and Breanna Sikes of Wedowee; son, Daniel Sikes of Ashland; biological mother, Helen Chapman of Clanton, AL; sister, Genice Wilson of Woodland; brothers, Deebo Davidson, Jason Allen and Chase Chapman, all of Clanton, AL.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

A Clanton, AL native, Mrs. Sikes was born on May 12, 1969, the daughter of Helen Chapman. She was raised by her adoptive parents Joe and Beatrice Gross. She was a member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church and worked as a Dispatcher for the Randolph County Sheriff’s Dept.  Mrs. Sikes was preceded in death by her parents.
