Obituary of Brandy Nicole Huey

Funeral services for Brandy Nicole Huey, age 43, of Wedowee will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Jerry Colquett officiating.  Burial will follow at Noonday Christian Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

Mrs. Huey passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020, at her residence.

Pallbearers will be Will Goodwin, Bill Goodwin, Heath Huey, Jack Corlett, Rhett Kirby, Kelley Cox, Joshua Corlett, and Noah Corlett.

Survivors include her husband, Derrick Huey of Wedowee; one son, Sammy Huey of Wedowee; mother and stepfather, Peggy and David Bullard; and a sister, Brooke Corlett (Jack) of Chesapeake, VA.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Huey was born on August 19, 1977, the daughter of Larry Cosper and Peggy Stewart Bullard.  She was a member of Union Baptist Church and was a housewife.  Mrs. Huey was preceded in death by her father, Larry Cosper and grandparents, Byrd and Fairy Stewart and Cecil and Bernice Cosper.
