Love and prayers to Suzanne and Roger on the loss of your dear Father. The love and care that you gave to him in his dying days was such a blessing. I will always remember him and the good times we had together. He will be missed but not forgotten by all who knew him.

I'm really going to miss Uncle Joe. He was charming, witty, kind, and patient. Some of my fondest memories are from when we were young and the Valmases (Uncle Joe, Aunt Faye, Johnny, and Suzanne) used to come from New York down to Alabama for vacation with the larger family at Aunt Jackie's farm, AKA: The Lake. Uncle Joe was so handsome and sophisticated! I can still hear his infectious laugh and can picture him sunning on a raft as we all floated around and played 20 Questions. Uncle Joe was such an accomplished and interesting man; he was truly a family favorite. Oh, and he told the best stories! We all loved him so.
His loving niece,

I loved my "Uncle Joe." Aunt Faye was the highlight of our summers at the "Little House." He always joked around. He was a kind, incredible, man, that brought joy to all. He loved my Aunt Faye so much. As well as his children. Meet me at the gate Uncle Joe! I love you!
