Ms. Faye McCord and Family:
I wanted to tell you how sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. McCord. He always had a kind word to say and always said hello in the morning with a smile while in high school and outside of high school. He helped me defuse my temper twice and gave positive gestures for the future. As I reflect through my memories, we always had it made because we did not have to live through what these kids are going through now. I am glad my era at WHS was a good one with country, kind hearted teachers and administrators. I am glad we had a principal like Mr. McCord. I hope you get better and God Bless!

Let my prayers be with the Family. Mr. McCord and I did not see eye to eye when I was a Student in Woodland. In fact I was probably the worst student he ever had. But I am glad as the years went on he got to see what kind of Man I turned out to be. As I got older I also realized the kind of Man he was. He was a Great Man with a Kind Heart. The last few times I saw him was at Wal-Mart and we had talked about the old days and the changes in our lives. I know he is missed but will always be remembered. If there is ever anything I can do for the Family just let me know.
