Obituary of Leroy Spradlin

Graveside services for Leroy Spradlin, age 79, of Roanoke will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Jim Craig officiating and Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Spradlin passed away Friday, February 12, 2021, at his residence.

Survivors include: one son, Ryan Spradlin of Roanoke; and two sisters, Joan Craig (Jim) of Newell and Annie Waters of Newell.

Pallbearers will be Jammie Rampy, Joey Whaley, Phillip Dye, Eric Dye, Teddy Waters, and Kevin Baker.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Spradlin was born on June 20, 1941, the son of Curtis and Audrey Reaves Spradlin.  He was a member of Union Baptist Church and was a self-employed contractor.  Mr. Spradlin was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce Spradlin; sister, Patsy Dye; brother, T. C. Spradlin; and brothers-in-law, Clyde Waters and Dale Dye.
