Obituary of Rubye Mae Ogle White

Funeral services for Mrs. Rubye Mae Ogle White, age 94, of Heflin, will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 2 :00 pm at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bobby Bain officiating.  Burial will follow at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 to 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 1, 2021.

Mrs. White passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at her home.

Survivors include: two daughters, Deborah Jones and Charlene White Daniels (Jerry), both of Heflin; grandchild, Kelly Denise Bain; one niece; one great-nephew; and two great-nieces.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. White’s friends.

A Heflin native, Mrs. White was born on March 26, 1927, the daughter of Bealer and Lizzie Daughtery Ogle.  She was a member of Pilgrims Rest Church and retired from Walmart as a sales associate. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mr. Otis White; a grandson, Anthony Sanders; and brothers, Hubert Ogle and Elbert Ogle.
