Obituary of Mike Cameron Weaver

Celebration of life services for Mike Cameron Weaver, age 70, of Montgomery will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Liberty Grove Cong. Methodist Church with Bro. Greg Norred officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00-2:00 PM on Saturday before services begin.

Mr. Weaver passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Baptist East Medical Center in Montgomery, AL.

Survivors include: one son, James Michael Weaver (Stephanie) of Notasulga, AL; two grandchildren, Cameron James Weaver and Charlotte Ruth Weaver; mother, Doris Weaver of Wedowee; one sister, Walda Vice (Jim) of Lake Martin, AL; and two brothers, Ken Weaver (Ann Forbes-Weaver) of Roanoke and Randy Weaver (Jane) of Pensacola, FL.

A longtime Randolph County resident, Mr. Weaver was born in Alex City, AL, on June 11, 1950, the son of Calvin Coolidge and Doris Sessions Weaver.  He was a Randolph County High School and Auburn University graduate and owner of Weaver & Associates insurance consultants.  Mr. Weaver also served as the Insurance Commissioner for the State of Alabama from 1988 to 1993.  He was preceded in death by his father.
