Obituary of Dena Cosper Noles

Funeral services for Dena Cosper Noles, age 55, of Woodland will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Big Springs Baptist Church with Rev. David Daniel, Rev. Eric Lester, and Rev. Steve Dempsey officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.  Mrs. Noles will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services beginning on Thursday.

Mrs. Noles passed away Monday, July 5, 2021, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, GA.

Survivors include her husband, Durant Noles of Woodland; one daughter Kaci Noles (John Roberts) of Woodland; one son, Levi Noles (Natalie) of Montgomery; one grandson, Waylon Roberts; and two sisters, Dianne Wright (Tommy) of Bowdon, GA, and Debora Bean (Joe) of Douglasville, GA.

Pallbearers will be Jake Kovac, Andrew Stewart, Nate Kovac, Colby Spears, Nathan Parker, and John David Jacobs.

A Woodland native, Mrs. Noles was born on September 3, 1965, the daughter of Mabry and Annie Belle Wiggins Cosper.  She was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  Mrs. Noles was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
