Obituary of Lance Cory Rollins

Funeral services for Lance Cory Rollins, age 51, of Woodland will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Donald Spradlin officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodland First Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.

Mr. Rollins passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Tanner Medical Center in Wedowee.

Survivors include: one son, Wesley Gable Rollins of Woodland; his mother and step-father, June Diane Tankersley Rollins and Junior Rollins of Woodland; and three brothers, Scott Rollins (Tammy) and Don Rollins (Denise) both of Buchanan, GA and Beau Rollins (Tiffany) of Woodland.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Rollins, Wade Rollins, Beau Rollins, Matt Rollins, Steve Rollins, Josh Rollins, Andrew Rollins, Ethan Hope, and Gable Rollins.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Rollins was born on March 2, 1971, the son of Wayne Wesley and June Diane Tankersley Rollins. He was Christian by faith and was a member at Woodland First Congregational Methodist Church.  Mr. Rollins was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Wesley Rollins.
