Obituary of Darrell F. Bowen

Funeral services for Darrell F. Bowen, age 60, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Potash Church of God with Rev. Keith Benefield officiating.  Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at Potash Church of God from 12:00 noon – 2:00 PM on Friday, April 1, 2022.

Mr. Bowen passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama.

Survivors include his daughters, Tracy Loiacano and Delana Keller, both of Bowdon, GA; sons, Andy Bowen of Roanoke, AL, Jeremy Keller of Bowdon, GA, and Greg Keller of Bowdon, GA; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Connie (James) Johnson of Carrollton, GA, Faith Bowen of Woodland, AL, Angela Bowen of Montgomery, AL, and Cheryl (Steve) Hanner of Woodland, AL; and brothers, Larry (Debra) Bowen of Woodland, AL, and Dwyatt Bowen of North Carolina.

Pallbearers will be friends.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Bowen was born on October 8, 1961, the son of Andy and Edythe Spears Bowen. He was Christian by faith and was a member at Potash Church of God. Mr. Bowen was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Debbie Bowen; and brother, Garry Bowen.
