Obituary of Steven Ralph Moore

Funeral services for Steven Ralph Moore, age 34, of Wedowee will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Richie Sims officiating and Keith Minix speaking. Burial will follow at Rocky Branch Church Cemetery, with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, November 11, 2022.

Mr. Moore passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at his residence.

Survivors include his mother, Tracy Moore and step-father, Scott Rollins; children, Dreama Mia Moore and Jaxon Miles Moore, both of Oxford, Ala.; grandmothers, Lorrine Deason and Mary Moore; very special aunt, Jennifer Moon; and brother, Dusty Moore of Lake Butler, FL.

Pallbearers will be Dalton Morris, Dusty Moore, Daniel Bell, Luke Moon, and Keith Minix.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Moore was born on December 8, 1987, the son of Tracy Moore.  He was a student of and worked as a Dorm Parent at the Alabama School for the Deaf. Mr. Moore enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his children, and Alabama football, Roll Tide!  He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roy Moore and Ralph Deason.
