Obituary of Darrell Lucky Boyd

Funeral services for Darrell Lucky Boyd, 62, of Wedowee will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cavers Grove Christian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:30-7:00 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2022.

Mr. Boyd passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, at his residence.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer McGraw (Matt) of Ashland, Ala.; son, Jason D. Boyd (Leann) of Delta, Ala.; five grandchildren; sisters, Linda Kirby and Judy Smith, both of Roanoke, Ala.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Boyd was born on April 25, 1960, the son of John Dallas and Annie Bell McCain Boyd.  He was a member at New Life Center Church of God. Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and a brother.
