Obituary of Autrey Gene Terrell

Funeral services for Autrey Gene Terrell, age 55, of Wedowee, will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sylvester Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Wedowee City Cemeter.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Mr. Terrell passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, at Tanner East Alabama Medical Center.

Survivors include: one daughter, Kathy Bailey of Wedowee; one son, Austin Terrell of Wedowee; one granddaughter, Shay Bailey of Wedowee; two sisters, Joan Andrews and Helen Marsh both of Wedowee; and two brothers, Scottie Andrews of Alabama and James Terrell of Georgia.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Terrell was born on June 7, 1967, the son of Gene Andrews and Ruby Parker Andrews.  He was Baptist by faith and worked as a carpenter for Doug Cofield Construction Company.  Mr. Terrell was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Terrell; and sister, Vickie Terrell.
