Obituary of Stacy Dell Langford

Stacy Dell Langford, age 61, of Wedowee passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, in Lineville, Alabama.

Survivors include: five children, Jason Green, Aaron Langford, and Beth Langford (Todd Butler), all of Lineville, Mallory Langford of Ashland, and Tillie Morris (Tyler) of Bowdon, GA; 13 grandchildren, Justice, Trent, Casey, Michael, Emalin, Cassidie, Dezman, David Jr., Gracie, Chase, Finn, Waylon, and Mayvrie; one sister, Elizabeth Weach; and two brothers, Harvey Langford and Phillip Langford.

A Virginia native, Mr. Langford was born on November 28, 1962, the son of Harvey and Lovie Bell Butler Langford.  He was Christian by faith and worked as a truck driver for LB3.  Mr. Langford enjoyed playing the guitar, running a bush hog, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandchild, Charlie Killian; and two sisters, Kathy Lucas and Peggy Burton.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel.
