I’ll never forget the blizzard of 93 when i unexpectedly got trapped out in Waco at Barbara and Jimmy’s house for 5 days! We had a time, playin cards, collecting snow in the tub to use for flushing toilets if needed. We ate the best food because Barbara was THE BEST COOK with what she had. I loved her beans and cornbread and her SLAW, my favorite! She taught me so many things about life and I am truly grateful to have known such a great lady. She was someone I wanted to be like in so many ways. I’ll never forget her laugh and the stories she’d tell. We had so many fun nights playing BINGO. Lord I have a lifetime of memories and they will keep me smiling for sure.
Barbara, I got everything you said I was gonna get…. You were right about all of it!
I love you and I know Jimmy and the good lord himself is loving having you home.
Don’t worry about Dawn, she’s a good gal, you raised her… she’s tough. She will be alright, I’ll keep an eye on her.
Oh one more thing Barbara, Save is a spot at the table gal and deal us a hand of Rook or Canasta.
