Obituary of David Edward Turner

Memorial services for David Edward Turner, age 60, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Zion Baptist Church.

Mr. Turner passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Tanner-East Alabama Medical Center in Wedowee.

Survivors include: two daughters, Angela Sudduth (Richard) and Amanda Roberts, both of Heflin; three sons, Dean Bickers (Nikki) of Roanoke, Scott West of Destin, FL, and Joey Turner of Roanoke; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Turner of Roanoke; and one brother, Robert Turner of Tennessee.

Born on October 30, 1963, Mr. Turner is the son of Joseph and Ellen Turner.  He was a member of Zion Baptist Church and served in the United States Army.  Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to Benefield Funeral Home to go towards final expenses.
