Obituary of Tina W Cook

Tina Elizabeth Wilson Cook was born to the parentage of William Bruce Jordan and Dorothy Ann Wilson Jordan on February 20, 1985, in Randolph County, Alabama 

She joined Oak Grove Worship Center in Newell, Al at an early age, remaining faithfully connected to Oak Grove until her transition. She was also employed at Mohawk Industries in Roanoke, AL.

Her family and friends remember her as a hardworking quiet laid back lively young lady who loved and savored life as well, being with family and friends.

Tina is proceeded in death by her paternal grandparents, Junior Jordan and Vester Jordan; an aunt, Jewell Pinkard; and uncle, Tony Roundtree.

Ms. Cook passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Tanner Medical Center in Wedowee, AL.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories, with her two children, Jakobe Cook and Jacob Cook both of Wedowee, AL; Parents, William Bruce and Dorothy W. Jordan of Wedowee, AL; Grandparents, Tommy Lee and Jewell Roundtree both of Woodland, AL; and her siblings Rosie Roundtree of Detroit, MI, Tonya S. Wilson Short ( Wayne) of Lineville, AL, Connice Hardnett ( Wayne) of Roanoke, AL, Wanda Drummonds (Jayron Ellis ) of Ashland, AL, Keith Jordan ( Marylin) of Albertville, AL; two special aunts, Cynthia Parker (Jessie ) of Wedowee, AL, and Mae of Detroit, MI; and a very special uncle, Sonny Wilson of Detroit, MI, and Timmy Roundtree ( Tina ) of Franklin, GA. 

Nieces: Takia Boyd of Wedowee, AL, Alexis Jordan of Carrollton, GA, and (2) very special nieces, Tamiral Nelson and Jordan Wilson, both of Wedowee, AL; and (3) great-nieces, Zylayah Boyd, Nilah Whaley, Mila Whaley, all of Wedowee, AL; (6) Nephews: Nathan Boyd of Wedowee, AL, Jace Jordan (Kaleigh) of Carrollton, GA, Malachi Jordan, Braden Jordan, Evan Jordan, Aiden Jordan, all of Albertville, AL, Malik Drummonds, Tristan Drummonds of Ashland, AL; (2) great-nephews, Kyser Jordan of Carrollton, GA, and Malikia Drummonds of Ashland, AL.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Worship Center with Pastor Fredrick Brown, Sr., officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-8:00 PM on Friday, April 12, 2024.
