Obituary of Joe Tom Bradley
Funeral services for Joe Tom Bradley, age 73, of Wedowee will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Randal Skinner and Bro. David Holcombe officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel West Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:30-8:00 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
Mr. Bradley passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Tanner Medical Center-East Alabama in Wedowee.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Bradley of Wedowee; two daughters, Heather Leslie of Mississippi and Michelle Bradley of Iowa; two sons, Joey Bradley (Amy) of Florida and Josh Stearns (Mellissa) of Jacksonville, AL; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Long and Margaret Huey, both of Wedowee; and two brothers, Jack Bradley and Johnny Ray Bradley (Shirley), both of Wedowee.
Pallbearers will be members of the Randolph County Cattleman’s Association. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Randolph County Junior Cattleman’s Association.
A Wedowee native, Mr. Bradley was born on February 16, 1951, the son of H. S. and Onie White Bradley. He was a member of Bethel West Baptist Church and was a cattle farmer. Mr. Bradley retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service and, in the past, served as president of the Randolph County Cattleman’s Association and vice president of the Alabama Cattleman’s Association. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Peggy Moretz.
