Funeral services for Sylvia Davis, age 72, of Roanoke will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Keith Benefield officiating.  Burial will follow at Potash Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Thursday before services begin.

Mrs. Davis passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at her residence.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Arthur Easton Davis, III; Godchild, Chris Webb (Melissa) of LaGrange; grandchildren, Ashley Webb, Koy Neiger, Kason Coker, Curtis Grant, Colton Webb, and Clay Webb; sister-in-law, Christie Davis (Kenneth Fause) of San Francisco, CA; niece, Kelsey Knight of Crestview, FL; and great-nephew, Aiden.

Pallbearers will be Clark Benefield, Gene Benefield, Jesus Swanger, Chris Webb, Colton Webb, and Clay Webb.

A Heard County, GA native, Mrs. Davis was born on October 12, 1952, the daughter of Johnny and Sybil Roacholli Williams.  She was Christian by faith and was a housewife and owned and operated her own daycare. Mrs. Davis was a good Godly woman who loved to talk and share stories.  She loved Elvis Presley, going on cruises, and the Georgia Bulldogs.  Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents; Godchild, Angel Richardson; and brothers, Bobby, Ronnie, Eddie, and Beau.
