Obituary of Nancy Louise Lyle

Graveside services for Nancy Louise Lyle, age 89, of Kilgore, TX, formerly of Randolph County, will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Rocky Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Matt Browning officiating and Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lyle passed away at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, Texas, on Monday, December 30, 2024.

Survivors include: two daughters, Shari Spears of Kilgore, TX, and Karen Popham of Douglasville, GA, two grandchildren, Crystal Jackson (Tavis) of Douglasville, GA, and Ashley Kilby (Caleb); six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Clearfield, PA native, Mrs. Lyle was born on October 30, 1935, the daughter of James E. and Vera Stevens Learish.  She was a member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church and worked in shipping for Kmart before her retirement.  Mrs. Lyle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herschel Lyle; one son, Jeff Lyle; and two brothers, John and James Learish.
