A Randolph County resident since the late 1950s, Lorrine was born in Omega, GA, on March 1, 1939, the daughter of Wright E. Walker and Alie Mae Monk.  She was currently attending The Well Church in Wedowee.  Lorrine worked many jobs throughout the years: sewing plants, security job, 7-11 stores, and retired from Hanes Hosiery.  She helped Ralph at his shops in Woodland and New Hope.  It has been said many times that if you went to Ralph’s shop, you didn’t know if it would be her or Ralph under the hood.  She even changed a motor by herself, with his guidance of course, since his health had declined.  Lorrine loved to work in the yard, especially cutting grass and planting flowers.  She was a very independent, stubborn lady right up to the end.  Lorrine loved Alabama football and Nick Saban!  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Deason; infant daughter, Deborah Deason; grandson, Steven Moore; five brothers; and one sister.

Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to The Well Church Building Fund.
