Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Mrs. Lisa F. Lamb, age 42, of Wedowee, will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. from the Benefield Funeral Home with Rev. David Reaves and Rev. Freddie Whitley officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley Grove Church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2009.
Mrs. Lamb died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Lamb is survived by her husband, Charles Barker of Wedowee; one daughter, Stephanie Cobb of Wedowee; one son, Louis Spivey of Winterhaven, FL; her mother, Lula Pitts; one brother, Mitchell D. Hill of Wedowee.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Williams, Jack Sheppard, Doug Sheppard, LaDon Lamb, Terry Walker and James Walker.
Mrs. Lamb was born June 4, 1967, the daughter of Nelson Spivey and Lula Cobb Pitts. She was of the Baptist faith and a housewife.
