Obituary of Lois H. Springer

Funeral services for Lois H. Waybright Springer will be held Monday Dec. 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Mitchell and Rev. Keith Pressley officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, and Sunday, Dec.13, 2009. Mrs. Springer died Thursday Dec.10, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Springer is survived by one daughter, Terri Springer Bailey, three sons James Steven Springer and Everett Wayne Springer of Edinburg, VA, and Laurence Dean Springer of Woodstock, VA., three brothers Ray Waybright of Ostenburg, PA, Billy Waybright of MO, and Wayne Waybright of DE, one sister, Jean Hazelip of Townsend, MD, twelve grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be family members. Mrs. Springer was born April 9, 1933 in Alexandria, VA. to Everett Wayne and Helen Marie Waybright. She was employed by the United States government. Mrs. Springer was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Springer, one sister, Carol Ann Williams, and one brother, Johnny Waybright.
