Funeral services for Retha Traylor Harmon will be held Sunday January 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM. from the Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Howard Woody officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010.
Mrs. Harmon died Friday January 22, at Clay County Hospital.
Mrs. Harmon is survived by one daughter, Shirley Green, four sons William Harmon, Jerry Harmon, Reed Harmon, and Randy Harmon, seventeen grandchildren, and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Mrs. Harmon was born April 6,1926 in Randolph County, AL. to Elbert Washy and Nancy Beulah Traylor. Mrs. Harmon was preceded in death by her husband I.D. Harmon, and four sons, Tommy Harmon, Steve Harmon, Archie Harmon, and Benny Harmon
