Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Terry Clifford Powell, age 52, of Roanoke will be held Sunday April 25 2010 at 2:00 PM from Rocky Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Powell passed away Friday April 23, 2010 in Roanoke.
Mr. Powell is survived by his wife, Debra Striblin Powell of Roanoke, two daughters, Kim Powell of Woodland and Amy Meadows of Jacksonville, Fl., two sons, Scott Powell of Dawson, Ga., and Nathan Meadows of Roanoke, two sisters, Patricia Patterson and Carol Patterson both of Franklin, Ga., three brothers, Mike Powell, Anthony Powell and Wendell Powell all of Franklin, Ga., four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brian Powell, Jimmy Powell, Jeremy Powell, Jason Patterson, Wesley Puckett and Jason Dyer.
Mr. Powell was born March 18, 1958 the son of Jack Clifford and Hazel Ann Henson Powell, he had worked for Charter Properties in maintenance, and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at 9499 County Road 59 after 2 PM on Saturday April 24, 2010. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
