Obituary of Donald Dewayne Norris

Funeral services for, Mr. Donald Dewayne Norris, age 55, of Anniston, formerly of Roanoke, will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Trinity Baptist Church, with Rev. Barry Cosper, Rev. Tim Whaley, and Rev. Richard Richie officiating. Mr. Norris will lie in state one hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow in Bethel East Baptist Church Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home on Friday, November 26, 2010. Mr. Norris died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Northeast Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Laura Dewberry Norris of Anniston; two sons, Jamie Ryan Norris of Anniston, Justin Wayne Norris of Anniston; his parents, Rev. Melvin and Gladys Norris of Newell; one sister, Vickie Cofield of Newell; a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David Rampy, Terry Dewberry, Glenn Dewberry, John Dewberry, Tim Cofield, Michael Dewberry, and Gary palmer. Mr. Norris was born, December 12, 1954. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and had worked at Meadow Craft. Mr. Norris was preceded in death by his a sister, Brenda Joyce Parmer.
